With such a moving sendoff quote, I'm almost happy to be eliminated. BTW, what is The 100?
I know The 100 as a sci-fi TV series, but it's adapted from a series of novels that I haven't read.
Brief synopsis: Humanity has been living in space for multiple generations while the Earth recovers from nuclear war. It's an extreme scarcity authoritarian society. A bunch of juvenile offenders get sent down to Earth to see if it's survivable.
It's a strong recommend from me.

I enjoyed that show but couldn't get into the last couple seasons.

I agree. They definitely jumped the shark and the finale was terrible.

I'll give it a go. For some reason I can't seem to embrace sci-fi. I have tried a few times. I think I'm unusual in that respect in the bitcoin world.

The sci-fi premises are done pretty well in the show, but it really delves into how societies adapt to different extreme scenarios. Oftentimes, it's more in the post-apocalyptic genre than sci-fi.

I am a sucker for post apocalyptic stuff

Then I think you'll like it. They do a good job of exploring several different post-apocalyptic outcomes. The execution doesn't always match the set-up, but that's most tv.

Hard to believe with your extensive knowledge of the current NBA that you went out so early.
BTW what's with the NHL giving the Maple Leafs the Kansas City Chiefs treatment? They get a week off to travel to Sweden and then get to play Detroit on second leg of a back to back. The Leafs were going to lose that game but the Red Wings looked like they were trying to skate in mud in the third period. So, I figure that must be the way it is structured, go to Sweden play 2 nights in a row. No, now the Leafs get a day off today and play the Wild on Sunday who shocker will be coming off a game tonight after travelling to Sweden. What the hell.

Got to cater to the most valuable fan base. I have a friend from Philly who analyzes this stuff like we think about the mempool.

Seems like a good job for AI. Feed it the entire schedule and compute which teams have the best and worst scheduling advantage in terms of days off, opponent days off, travel days, travel out of time zone etc. Would be interesting to see if certain teams get preferred treatment year after year.

I'm pretty sure this is done for NBA and NFL. I don't recall who does it though.
