I "adopted" 2 poor salvadorans, that I am helping them with some sats, sometimes, paying their bills from thousands of km away, straight with sats.
One of them is really into learning more about running LN nodes and I know him for about 3 years now.

I think that makes sense. It's tough to find legit orgs. They all start to look like sxams if you dig deep enough. I have same questions re Motiv.
