We didn't get the great Thursday Night Football matchup I was hoping for. Unfortunately, Burrow got hurt in the second quarter and it was pretty much game over.
On the bright side our beloved Perth Heat won their first game 4-0. I will do a recap of their first series on Sunday.
Some pretty solid NBA in-season tournament matchups tonight. I can't wait to see how bad the Raptors tournament court looks. To be fair, during Tuesday's games I actually saw a couple court designs I didn't mind. The NBA is certainly getting a lot of buzz over these courts, even though 80% is negative, but I guess no publicity is bad publicity.
Week 11 NFL Weekly Pick 'em coming shortly.
Have a good Friday everyone.
Sats for all!
Cheers, GR

I think this one actually looks pretty good. I though it was going to be white on red, which might look pretty bad depending on which shades of red they choose. But this gold on 2 shades of grey looks pretty good to me. I still don't like having the trophy as the key though, but that's a common design for all of the courts.

Disagree. Looked bad in the pic and worse on the broadcast. Nice effort by the Raps to comeback but didn't hit shots in last 2 mins and Boston did.

My daughter had rock climbing, so I couldn't watch the game. From the looks of the final score, it seem like a close game.

Wasn't close in the first half. Raps got dominated in the second quarter and were down by 16 at halftime. They played great in the second half and closed the gap. Even took a 1 point lead a couple times late in the game but in the end the difference was Boston executed and hit there shots in the last 2 mins and the Raps didn't. Good effort against a great team though.

Last night I was flipping between the Heat game and TNF. I also fell asleep for a bit. I saw Lamar get hurt, switched to the Heat game, fell asleep for 20 minutes, flipped back to TNF Halftime report talking about Burrow's injury.
On Tuesday, I thought the Hornets' tournament court actually looked really nice, then I switched to the 76ers' monstrosity. My TV couldn't figure out how to adjust to that sensory nightmare.
Boston/Toronto is pretty easily the game of the night, I'd say.

I was shocked the Ravens kept Lamar in for the 4th Q and kept letting him run. He was obviously a bit banged up and was limping a little a few times. That game was in the bag as soon as Burrow went out. I was pretty surprised they didn't shut him down once they went up 14 or at least tell him don't run anymore.
The Celtics are a very bad matchup for the Raps but I think they will put up a fight tonight.

Burrow is destroying my season pool.

How dare he? Tough year for the Bengals. They were finally looking back on track winning 4/5 after the really bad start and now their season is probably done. They have a tough schedule and they are on the outside looking in now for the playoffs. If Burrow misses any time, which seems likely since he couldn't even throw a ball 5 yards on the sideline, I think their playoff hopes are over.
