bitcoin has already been adopted by the behemoths of the corporate world, in the form of asset management companies, so i have to assume any global shadow organization is already deeply embedded.

to me, the most important aspects of bitcoin dwell in it's philosophical roots, and those foundational ideas can never be captured, even if the network as it currently exists winds up being compromised.
