Interesting; I see a very different pattern among most of my non-bitcoiner friends. They are all too financially stressed due to rising rent and general inflation, that they are more stuck than ever on the wage-slave hamster wheel, unable to think of anything outside of their 9-5 job, certainly not open-minded enough to take initiative on either of these paths (at least not in a long-term preparatory mindset).
And as for Bitcoiners, I'm having a hard time putting my finger on any who've been in the space for 5+ years and aren't at least leaning toward one of these poles. I've observed the majority taking path #1, as it requires less extreme life changes, and more increasing emotional investment in what you already have. Great example of what BTC Sessions is doing up in Canada right now, starting a grassroots P2P community to strengthen food + necessity connection without any third parties involved.
Bitcoin can accelerate people into conscious living
Love this 🔥 100% agree with that.
You know, I realize now that I have very few non-bitcoiner friends these days. All of my non-bitcoiner friends are also various flavors of engineers and STEM people so that further skews my experience.
