Bitcoiners are generally a very optimistic bunch, myself included. And we have good reason to be; as we all know, there is a lot to be stoked about in the bright-orange future!
However, it is also important to be realistic. And I think most of us can also agree, there is likely to be a tumultuous phase as we transition from the generations-deep period of fiat/inflation into a Bitcoin-based one.
I sense the Bitcoin community as a whole understands this. And as a result, is diverging between two starkly-opposite paths.
PATH #1: Dig the heels in deeper than ever in their community.
CASE FOR:
- Strengthens their community network, personal food/health routine for themselves and their family, and fosters opportunity to establish local value-4-value connections that will prove valuable in the case of shit hitting the fan.
PATH #2: Drop everything to go travel the world.
CASE FOR:
- If things do get bad across the geopolitical landscape, there's a possibility that this could be the last chance many will have for a long time--if not their lifetime--to visit a wide array of countries (specifically those likely to be hit hardest by economic downturn).
What are your thoughts on these two options?
Have you chosen one yourself, and if so, why?
If neither, which group do you think will be the most happy with their decision 5 years from now?
Excited to hear your thoughts!
