If you are dealing with someone who is consuming carbs every hour he is awake you are wasting your time. This person is not functioning properly and you could not learn anything from this person and you could not teach this person anything. He would not listen. So you have to fix the diet before you can fix the world.
The most important thing when it comes to this is to create an eating window. Its easier said than done. But the difference in terms of mental clarity, satiation, and weight will be night and day once you accomplish it. My eating window is between 10 am and 5 PM.
if you are on a whole foods, and grass fed meat diet, high in fat and low in carb then your results will be even better!
Most people will live their entire lives without this knowledge and likely significant resulting improvement in health and well being. You are welcome.
Interesting. Am I right in thinking that if they're not used carbs eventually turn to sugar and then into fat reserves?

Yes, but there are worse things happening. One thing is being overweight, its not that bad in itself. We are designed to put on weight. The bad thing is being insulin resistant which is what over consumption of carbs causes. Long story short it ruins the body and brain in a way that it feels normal but the damage it caused will be obvious if you reverse it. The good news is that in most cases it can be reversed relatively easy. If i recall correctly 80% of Americans are insulin resistant.

The eating window is basically intermittent fasting, right?
reply
The term intermittent fasting frames the situation wrong. It is only in modern times that we started eating from the moment we woke up til the moment we go to bed. It was something Kelloggs started. So yes the term is Intermittent Fasting but its the wrong framing. When you dont over eat you are not fasting.
