Same. I never have cash on me these days.
Square and everyone that followed their lead like Clover pretty much made it so everywhere takes cards now.

Lame. Cash acceptance is more important than Bitcoin.
I pay for everything I can with either cash or Bitcoin. Every bitcoiner should be carrying cash around and using it.
Without cash, there would have been no way to bootstrap Bitcoin without government permission. Cash is absolutely essential to having a free society, and everyone who pays with credit "for convenience" is doing their part to give governments more power.

I wasn't exactly proud of my cashlessness but I wasn't as ashamed as I should be either.

All of the people who demand cash in my town are too traumatized by the crypto scams to want to learn about bitcoin. We have to wait for the next generation.

You have to search them out. BTCmap.org and the Oshi App.
I have been able to cover a large amount of my expenses using Bitcoin and those 2 tools.

Hmm good idea, thanks

When Bitrefill brings back their bill pay features for US customers, the percentage will probably be higher for me.

You were able to use sats to cover your bills, super easy and the fees were marginal. They had a list of providers you can choose from, like your credit card provider and you just go from there.

I don't use physical fiat for anything else besides when going out with friends to a Bar, or to get something from a vending machine.

Germany is a high-cash-usage country. Basically everything under 1000€ is done with cash, preferably. I pay rent and internet with bank transfers, but everything else is crisp, plastic notes.
I do think that the EU will ramrod their CBDC very soon, though. Especially with the passage of the bill to sign over governing power to the WHO. It's gonna be a wild ride.

wow. Im a little dissapointed. I use cash for everything. My bank accounts exist solely for getting bitcoin. When i buy crap on the internet i use prepaid debit cards that i buy with cash

The local butcher, seafood & Chinese supermarket all prefer cash. There's always a fee using a card these days, and it really adds up.
Still all our bills are paid via bank transfer for convenience.

Everything other than my mortgage and utility bills.
Groceries, transportation etc. are 100% cash. But they're dwarfed by the mortgage and bills.

I barely use cash. I don't like it but I've been programmed that way. For nearly 20 years I had PayPal Business debit and I earned 1% back from every purchase. Then in 2020 or 2021 I closed my account because the woke virus got them.
I like Fold - Referral: 😜 https://use.foldapp.com/r/RM8f5LJv
Debit card where I earn sats.
I Lolli - Referral 😜: https://lolli.com/share/FCM8VJ
Connected to my debit card at credit union to earn sats.
Of course this is all privileged life and it is what it is. The more businesses that benefit from buying power the better. The central banks are threatening banks and credit unions so the push back is that smaller organizations want buying power.
Cash as far as Fiat currency goes is about 2% of the M2 or monetary count. As a bearer instrument is great but still it can be front run by digital dollars and of course money printing.
Great question!
I guess finally I'll share that having lived in urban areas I've not carried cash because I didn't want to get robbed (so I fill out a W2 in order to get robbed by Uncle Scam.)
I would love to figure out how to do a bearer instrument like cash for Bitcoin but I haven't and I don't like the coinkite solution. Reading Andreas Antonio book on Bitcoin I liked how one could get a QR code to pay and use that same one to show an ATM but that's not considering lightning.
Something to think about fo sho.
