His wife forgot something at the store, so grayruby offered to go pick it up. Cost $26 but money well spent he said.
The dog needed a walk, so grayruby put on his headphones, fired up a podcast and started walking.
It was time for his daughter to get ready for bed, so grayruby sprung into action and got her ready.
What's gotten into grayruby?

Happy Friday!
Sats for all!
Cheers, GR
I started watching the Bucks game, but they were getting blown out so badly that I switched on TNF. I had forgotten who was playing. Thank goodness that Bucks game got competitive.
Reminder to anyone who hasn't made their picks for the NBA In-Season Tournament.
reply
Giannis had a monster game yesterday vs the Pacers. But that game also showed that he really needs Lillard to win, especially against a good team. The supporting cast on the Bucks is quite lacking in offense.
reply
Something's really off with them. I think they need a different back court partner for Dame. Alex Caruso maybe?
I'm glad the 76ers decided to show up after half-time tonight.
reply
I think Middleton is a good third option and can work well as Dame's back court partner. Probably just need some time to figure it out.
76ers got the job done. We're through to the next round. Twolves seem to be pulling away too. But like Wemby said, a 20pt lead in the NBA means nothing, let alone a 10pt lead.
reply
I agree about Middleton as a good third option, but they need a glue guy. The best teams have someone who does all the little stuff and guards the opposing stars: Caruso. Gary Payton II, Bruce Brown, etc.

Nice I live in The Milwaukee area!
reply
I've been to the big Ren Fair south of Milwaukee.

reply
Nice. Ever go to Brewers games?
reply
Yup a few a year! How about you? I also ran the 5k race there through the stadium and the sausages do the full 5k as well!
reply
I have never been to that stadium but I have been to quite a few MLB stadiums. I would like to check it out.
I like the Pacers. They are an exciting team to watch. I am sure Bucks will sort themselves out later in the year but you made a good point the other day. It is a good time to play the Bucks now.
reply
The stage is set for Boston and Philadelphia to really screw us tonight.
reply
Close game so far. Hopefully 76ers will pull away in the 4th and bring it home.
Celtics looking good at halftime. If nothing goes wrong, should be an easy win for them.
reply
Yeah. I'm watching the Wolves/Spurs game. It seemed like the most interesting matchup, plus our pool has someone on each side of it. Wemby's such a freaky looking dude. Even hunched over, he's still taller than Gobert.
reply
Not I. I took the mighty TWolves.
reply
The refs are trying to keep you in this, but Wemby's rising to the occasion so far.
reply
Never in doubt.
reply
True. I meant the pool more broadly. For some reason, I just don't believe in the TWolves, despite predicting that they would be really good before the season.
reply
I was big on them as a sleeper team prior to last season and they let me down but looking good so far this year.
reply
Apparently, Gobert was injured throughout last season. KAT is the sticking point for me. I think they need to trade him for someone who's a winning player.
reply
I think Towns can be a great number 2. With Edwards emerging as a star maybe it works better for them that Towns can be a number 2.

I have been watching the highlights of Afghanistan vs Australia in the Cricket World Cup. A mid-order batsman scores a record 201 runs and saves his country from certain defeat. He is completely broken by the end and can hardly move his legs due to cramp. Incredible.
reply
Wow that's a lot of runs.
reply
Towards the end he was just slogging 6s (a hit that clears the boundary) and 4s (a hit that reaches the boundary but touches the ground before getting there) as he was broken and you don’t have to run. His partner at the other end barely got a look in…. Occasional innings like this really highlight the difference between baseball and cricket.

Some damn exciting UFC matches tomorrow - Jiri vs Pereira and Pavlovich vs Aspinall...
reply
I will probably watch a bit of it.
