Totally ignoring to mention LNbig, Zeus and Blixt, when they are older LSPs than Bitkit...
- Olympus by Zeus (LSP node)
- Blixt Node (LSP node)
- LNbig nodes (many LSP nodes)
This is in reference to a spec working group, not LSP's as a whole. I believe Evan was going to be implementing the spec into Zeus/Olympus if it got traction.
It's a vanity project by Synonym though, no one is actually using it and there's not a clear use-case beyond think-boi blog posts every few months.
LSP usage patterns aren't established enough for everyone to standardize this part of LN. Established players already have something that works for them, and the real innovation would ideally normalize peer-based opportunistic liquidity rather than dedicated service providers.
It's also a regressive spec by relying on BOLT8, which is arguably the worst part of Lightning. Liquidity marketplaces only make sense at a higher application layer, like nostr.

Think-boi 😂😂😂

To be fair I think they do have users just none in the USA because of regulation fears which I find a bit corny

I didn't mean Synonym products perse, I meant the idea that LSP's ought to be standardized seems like a nothingburger.

Yes, I would like to see a standard for LSP specs.
