Seems things in the saloon are a bit tame on hump day compared to the weekend! Things get very exciting at Bitcoin Grove in Miami, as we start to fill in the new space and make it a home. Yesterday we brought a large wooden table that can be used for conferences or other purposes. The new spot has a better location and much easier parking. Our neighbors also seem friendlier. This morning it will host the first meeting of Miami's Bitcoin Design Club at 8am. I'll be at work, but I wish them a fruitful meeting. https://meetu.ps/e/MCL7W/WlcHd/i I started planning a regular, in-person Bitcoin for Beginners session to begin in the near future, maybe January, which will start with invitation only and after we feel confident in our methodology we can open it up to the general public. I hope everyone has a great day.
This is cool. Do you have regular new nocoiners coming to those meetups?

Miami has a few different meetups. Bitcoin brunch is the only weekly meetup and I have met many pre-coiners. Bitcoin Grove is still relatively new so we haven't had much opportunity to engage the general public. Some members don't want to engage the public at all, or have different levels to which they are willing to be a face of bitcoin.

Whatever you do, don't use UV lights at the event.
Idiots at this event wasn't so lucky. They got exposed to UV rays at the Bored 'Blind' Yacht Club and almost went blind.
