pull down to refresh

Had my snow tires put on the car this morning.
Welcome to the impending Canadian winter. Although the local outdoor rink will be opening soon and I will get to enjoy taking my little one skating. She is still learning but we always have fun.
I don't want to trigger any PTSD from our resident Jets fans so I am not even going to mention the MNF game that occurred last night. I guess I did just mention it by saying I wasn't going to mention it but let's not talk about it.
I will mention, however, that we have a brand new champion in the weekly pick 'em challenge. @POTUS hit 3/3 and won it on the tiebreaker. So congrats to POTUS.
Our 3 remaining Survivor Pool participants all made it through week 9. Weekly survivor pool post coming up from the Survivor account shortly.
Keep an eye out for @Undisciplined's next NBA in-season tournament post to make your picks for the next set of games.
Sats for all.
Cheers, GR
Tournament post will be tomorrow. I'm going to stick to a Wed/Fri schedule.
Daylight savings wore me out, so I missed the end of MNF. I was happy to not wake up to Brandon Staley being fired for blowing another game.
I did watch the Lakers/Heat game, which was very good. The stars were in full form until AD went out with groin spasms. It's utterly absurd that Lebron can still do what he's doing.

Vegas has the Jets favoured against the Raiders next week. I don't know what to say about that after watching last night's debacle.

Can you believe @grayruby bet on them twice in the same week? Yeesh

As Albert Einstein aptly said "Two things are infinite: the universe and @grayruby's stupidity; and I am not sure about the universe".

Ugh wrong account again.

I didn't even want to attempt managing two. Hence, the lack of buy in for the NBA survivor pool.

I realized that I messed up the posting schedule.
Games are Tuesdays and Fridays.
Posts for picks, gloating, and making fun of the losers are Wednesdays and Saturdays.

We're thinking about doing skating lessons this winter. I'm pretty sure I started when I was three.

I taught my son to skate when he was younger but he has absolutely no interest in it. The little one loves it but we only got out a handful of times the past couple winters so she hasn't totally grasped it yet. I need to get her out early and consistently this winter.
Must be a Canadian thing but when I was kid we watched hockey Saturday night and then Sunday went to the local arena for public skating. My son is 13 now so maybe I can convince him to come out with the promise that there will be girls his age out skating. Haha.
