Feature feedback: the search icon on bottom-right of stacker news would be better served if it was for creating a New Post/Discussion.; I think this will encourage higher content submissions.
As always, this is just my $0.02
The question is whether that encourages better content or not ;)
Is it just me or do I find it extremely hard to find anything to post and/or comment with? I really want to participate but I was able to come up with nothing. It looks like everyone has posted everything interesting.
Is there some topic that you are especially interested in? Maybe do a deep exploration of the topic and write a shorter post about it?
I don't know. Probably LN internals.

Here's a suggestion:
Not everyone who has something they'ld like to see shared on SN wants to do a post, themselves. Maybe they just don't have the time to do it themselves (thinking it is complicated). Maybe it's not something they want posted under their own account, maybe it's something that requires a tiny bit of research, or formatting, etc.)
So, there's an opportunity where you can crowdsource leads as to what content others would like to see posted on SN. Here's how:
Create a Discussion post here on SN, titled something like: "Anything you would like to see posted on SN? I will do the work!"
Not only will you earn the sats from any upvotes, but as that activity gains your trust in the WoT, you'll see a higher daily airdrop / yield payment. Additionally, those that ask you to post something are likely to either tip you, or upvote the post you created for them.
And if the task requires a little effort, you can try to negotiate some compensation before performing the work.
