You think MicroStraegy will rugpull?

Not for now (I hold some of their stock even). But it would be a major shitshow if they were forced to dump their holdings for whatever reason -- Software business goes under and can no longer service the debt, get margin called on a degen BTC-backed loan, etc.

@ekzyis @WeAreAllSatoshi @rleed going to exclusively review and merge PRs tomorrow. Sorry for the significant delay. Moving our office has been more distracting than I wanted.
reply
Thanks & no worries. I am (and will remain) online working on SN today.
reply
Just FYI I will probably not have any time at my computer tomorrow, so if you have changes youโ€™d like to see in my PRs and you want to merge them tomorrow, youโ€™ll probably have to make the changes yourself. I think you usually handle it that way if necessary anyway, but I wanted to give a heads up

My wife was showering my boy, so I found time to watch Mark Mansonโ€™s โ€œThe Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuckโ€ on Netflix.
It felt like an extended AI-powered video interspersed with interviews of Mark tbh. But I thought he made some good points about how our prevailing social media culture might have resulted in a generation of self-entitled people.
Have you watched it yet?

Judge bows to sovereign man. It's illegal to use a legal name. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eedIDu8P1Dc
reply
Yes, I had the same situation in a court room. The judge didn't bowed so visible, but he just bows his head to me and declared the session closed, after I presented my affidavit claiming to show me proofs that anybody in the court could have any authority or jurisdiction over me, the living man, without my consent.
In these kind of situations you have to literally have balls and stand your ground, no matter what.

I will be working on Account Switching next (next to some wallet stuff like NWC) so maybe this will be a nice unintended side effect :)
Basically, account switching should make the UX around posting as someone else better. So you don't have to go incognito just to post as anon.

Sometimes yes, but not the first ones. I think stackers and especially the new ones are focused only on a short time period of posts, only the last 2 days or so.
If I am not online for few days, I usually select the "top" all and read the posts, so I will not miss something important, until I will reach the last day I was online and read SN. I also zap frequently, just as "seen" mechanism, so I would know that I already pass through that post.
But enough with revealing my SN strategy ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Yep, there is also currently no incentive for doing that
reply
nah, is not like passive income. Is more like people finding those old posts and they just zap them because they agree or like the content. Is like saying "ok, I see your point and I like it".

That's exactly what I do, especially if I don't know the nym.
Like getting to know them and rewarding them not only for current behavior, but also for past behavior.
I think getting a zap for the past is even more exciting since you know that someone took the time to read your old stuff and liked it so much they zapped. For some reason, I believe the "zap sense" is less active for past posts.
But my theory is with more users + better features regarding this, more old content will be rediscovered by more people with stronger "zap sense"
Thus, infinite zaps. lol
I just hope that I am not the only one doing this, haha
@nemo had a good point when I mentioned this: maybe I am projecting too much, haha

@k00b could look up the recent zaps in the database and see which were for old items. Or send me a up-to-date database dump and I can do it myself.
No need for subjective measurements. We have the raw data available :)

You could go the just brushing route. There's natural oils in the hair follicle. When brushed down to the tip the oil spreads down each hair and naturally cleans the hair.
I did it for a couple of years in the late 80s/early 90s. It does work really well - a fair amount of brushing involved, but it just becomes a nice habit.
Probably lots of great websites out there to help make up your mind.
I only stopped because I had it all cut off.
...plus, I'm bald now - not due to the brushing tho!
reply
wow, brushing - thanks, will try!
reply
No problem - it will naturally condition it too!
It usually takes a few weeks for the system to work optimally. You'll see your hair looking great then.
reply
You might be asking the wrong bunch here, Natalia
reply
trying with my luck! who knows haha
reply
The top of my head is the only place on my body I don't have hair.
reply
Did you ever figure out the problem of causing hair loss? like I was losing quite a lot of hair when I was living in istanbul, and it turned out because of the hard water there, and I stopped losing that amount of hair once I moved, wild.
reply
With me I think it's genetic. For men, I always heard that if your mother's father was bald, a man will be bald too. I heard the next best predictor is your own father. With me, both my grandfather on my mother's side and my father were bald. So I was doomed. My nephew told me that when he went to Istanbul half the airplane was filled with men going there to get inexpensive hair transplants. Have you heard of this?
reply

yes! many people come to Turkey to get hair implantation, and quite some Middle east women come to get nose jobs too - not a surprise seeing people cover their noses or hair when you are walking around in european side of istanbul ๐Ÿ˜‚
I tried laser hair removal and orthodontics, both with amazing results and great price:)
reply
I work with two Turkish brothers. They always point to my head and tell me they're going to take me to Istanbul. I told them I like my bald head! One has moved back to Turkey. The other guy flies back home for dental work. He says it's cheaper even with the air fare.
