This is a great hack. I hate having to carry extra cards around. I wonder if there are downsides to doing this with health insurance cards.

Kind of related, but I used a big library goer. Occasionally when I'd travel in the US, I'd get a digital library pass in the cities I visited giving the address of the hostel I was staying in or whatever (occasionally the systems were that lenient). I had four city passes at peak. New York City's and SF's had the best digital libraries iirc.

Eventually I paid the University of California system for a lifetime pass which pretty much met all my needs. Then I moved to Texas lol.
