I am running a bit late today. Everyone in my family is sick, including me. The little one was the last to get sick and is definitely the loudest and least content about it. Haha.

Not a very interesting TNF game last night but nice to see the Bills get a bounce back win after a couple stinkers. I also heard the Purdy is in concussion protocol so the 49ers might be featuring Sam the man Darnold this Sunday against the Bengals with a healthy Burrow, coming off a bye week. Yikes. (And that's why you can't lay an egg two weeks in a row against inferior teams- potentially going from 5-0 to 5-3 heading into the bye. Hopefully they can pull out a win either way).

The World Series starts tonight and the Diamondbacks still have the ugliest jerseys in baseball. As suggested by @BTC_Bellzer I be doing an ugly jersey post tomorrow so get your despised jersey takes locked and loaded.

@Undisciplined and I are going to put some sort of competition together for the NBA in-season tournament that starts Nov. 3rd, if anyone has any ideas to share as to what that should look like, please feel free.

NFL Week 8 pick 'em post coming shortly.

How do you feel about a casual in-season tournament survivor pool?

We make our picks, but instead of a formal buy-in, just pay out whatever zaps the posts get to the winner.

That's what I was thinking of doing, anyway.

I don't mind if there is no buy in but we should have some guaranteed pay out. I did a 5k sats payout for the baseball playoff bracket challenge. I don't mind putting up the 5k sats. Why don't we do minimum 5k sats but if we get more zaps and rewards throughout the tournament then the payout is more, if we get less than I will cover the difference.

Yes, likely. Especially if we are doing multiple posts. We will get rewards too. Do you want to run it, or I can or we can create a new account like I did for the Football pool and then it is easier to track how many zaps it gets.
