I once read (in a book called "The Music Lesson" by Victor Wooten) that an entertainer's ultimate goal is provide the pathway for the listener/consumer to "enter into attainment".
What "attainment" means can be rather subjective, but ultimately, it should inspire and light up the brain a motivating way. Today's content creators seem to not have that objective in mind at all, which in a way, makes it much easier to choose who to follow (or not follow).
