What are some weird facts? 3 women kidnap, force-feed and rape 23-year-old man for 3 days

A 23-year-old man was kidnapped and raped for three days by three women in eastern Pretoria, South Africa.

The women force-fed him energy drinks before taking turns raping him numerous times everyday. The victim was found traumatised and exhausted after being dumped in a field semi-naked, according to police in South Africa.

The victim first encountered his alleged abusers when got into a 15-seater communal taxi with the the three young women. But soon the car was driven in the wrong direction and he was ordered to get in the front seat.

One of the women forcibly injected him with an unknown substance which caused him to pass out. He wake up in an unfamiliar room in a single-bed where he was force-fed the energy drinks.

The the 23-year-old victim told the police that he was not allowed to sleep and was only given energy-drinks. He also said that he had lost count of the number of times he was raped.

After 72 hours of ordeal, he was dumped in a field in Benoni.

'The South African Police Service takes all sexual offences seriously, regardless of gender. [We assure] all victims of these types of crimes that we will carry out robust investigations to bring offenders to justice", Captain Wellback told the Sun.

Not weird in reading or understanding but yes weird in the sense of not being talked or hyped about. Is it because of Gender?
