Many, if not all, of my friends are super concerned about all the crazy going on in the world. I'm talking "normie" friends, not Bitcoiner friends. When I listen to their fears they typically focus around either specific red vs blue politics or Gun violence or war in the Middle East.
Tonight, while meeting with a few, I let my "Bitcoiner crazy" off the leash. I tried to explain how these issues are all just symptoms of a much larger structural reset that happens when the dominant empire falls from domination. (see Ray Dalio) The monetary system that the world has been build on for 100 years is beginning to crumple. As a software developer, this makes sense. When we build systems, they bloat over time until at some point their cost out weighs their value and we gradually sunset these systems and build replacements. It is physics, there is no other way. Right now the people in charge are the mainframe developers freaking out that their system, the thing they have worked their whole careers on is going away. We just have to keep our heads down, keep building, and wait for the legacy crew to move out of their corner offices so we can move in. That's the way I see it.
They looked at me like I was crazy...
Where do pink slips come into play?

A bad connection on my part in getting rid of the legacy folks from power.

The thing is, normies can understand too. But it has to be gradual.
Anything too real and they put their heads under sand.

Some of us were even normies to begin with!

Yes, good points! We have to ease them out of the Matrix. Even Neo struggled
