It is interesting only whether it is needed? There are wrapped versions of bitcoin that work the same way. In addition, most crypto markets are in pairs to bitcoin.

Most crypto markets are in pairs with USDT these days. Used to be bitcoin, like 3-5 years ago.

Yes most of the pairs are to usdt but some of them are also to bitcoin.
