Will the pleb routing node with 5% -10% of your stack become a liability or asset in the future.
I've been seeing it as the latter. That if lightning merchant adoption grows, pleb lightning routers will have the opportunity to route more payments. I was thinking that if demand for blockspace becomes more valuable, it would also make pre-existing lightning channels more valuable as well.
Or would it become more and more ridiculous to have a portion of your stack on...... essentially a hotwallet with additional risks. And would it make more sense that centralized and specialized operations take a majority of the pie, similar to the direction bitcoin mining has taken?
Or should plebs use their own lightning nodes primarily for the sovereignty aspect?
