The ability to just sit by yourself with your thoughts without knowing everything as it's happening. The internet got a lot more invasive once it stopped being a thing you "log on to" and landed in your pocket.

Quirky, non-mainstream, useful content on the internet.
For instance - somebody who just wrote up some interesting recipes, 5 or maybe 10 years ago, could still get found on the internet. Now it's much more difficult, and what you mostly get is SEO-optimized, generic junk. Much less variety.
