Stick it out, get experience, make the job what you want it to be as much as you can. If there’s more you want to learn and can’t at work, learn it at home, then look for a more interesting job when you’re ready. Also, working in traditional finance as a software engineer is very boring IMO. You tend to be forced into old tech, long drawn out business processes, and generally have a lot of “rules” to follow.
