Just got my username and excited to try it out. Looks like they are using Zaplocker on the backside. I used the embedded LND node nearly exclusively at Pacific Bitcoin (since Phoenix’s fees are really high now) and it worked great.

More info about Zeus on their github page
I’ll include some screenshots of the functionality when I get home from work.
I have no affiliation with them other than I am a user of their software and have donated to them. All zaps go to founder of Zeus, @evankaloudis.
Evan is moving fast!
Zaplocker seems like a fantastic LSP service, it's great to see some are already jumping on it.

I've been helping test out the Alpha, and it's really good. The first true integrated app-based non-custodial zap solution to come to the market. When you have an embedded node on your phone and liquidity from Olympus LSP, you don't need to run a node yourself to use Lightning with LNURLpay.

I agree! Makes me rethink running my own nodes!

I still do, but this is great for most users who don't have the time or experience to invest in one just to get the benefit of non-custodial Lightning.

This is super exciting!!

Joined the waitlist, haven't heard of it before, so thanks for sharing @aoeu!

If you donate on the Zeus homepage, that will also jump you into the testing pool. Another way to donate is via OpenSats, though the donation likely would not count towards bumping you up in priority for alpha testing.

Just found out that this Lightning address feature also works with any node you have connected to Zeus. Or, at least a LND node connected via LNC, which is what I tried it with.

that is awesome!
