I tried it and it didn't work. I was logged in through a Lightning wallet. Maybe you need to be logged in using NOSTR.
You need to have a nostr browser extension installed and give SN permission to have events signed, but you don't need to be logged in with nostr.
Here's how the permissions are set in nos2x stacker.news getPublicKey allow always 2023-10-13 12:49:40 revoke stacker.news signEvent allow always 2023-09-28 23:48:45 revoke
I have NOSTR set up as an alternate login method. Would that give SN permission to sign?
It just worked for me so it must be something specific that's going wrong.

It shouldn't need to be linked. All we need is access to the extension.
