Believe it or not, I knew his guitarist, who I think still plays with him, Chris Haskett. I saw a show in Prague in 1997, I think. I briefly met him backstage. I enjoyed the show but I dont know much about his music.
They worked together during The Rollins Band days. Loud and fast… although not quite Black Flag angry

I never saw Black Flag but saw Rollins Band. Prefer his writing though. Have you read Black Coffee Blues - worth a look if not.
