Thanks @orthzar for the heads-up. (So that's who @k00b was referring to in an earlier post). We'll have to work out some sort of system to help ,users like myself from getting fooled. The new 'mute' option will help me now right now though.

One option could be for users to placehold similar usernames as their own to prevent this happening. A bit of a weird workaround, I guess, but probably a decent one to prevent future scams and misunderstandings.
