I've been considering trying to switch to a tiling window manager for a while. i3wm seems to be a good one for a newbie. I'm a dev and pretty much live in the terminal but only been on desktop Linux for a bit over a year.
Goals for me:
- Simple configuration(text based)
- Portable (If I wanna switch distros)
- Simple learning curve
Just looking to get started.
