One shouldn't trust or rely on any politician but I find myself liking Kennedy even though I disagree with him on a lot of stuff. He presents as honest, peace seeking, and more than willing to call shit out.

Yesterday, I watched a Ray Dalio interview where he's asked how we avoid sudden empire death, ie internal and external wars. He said we need a genuinely unified government with a strong political middle.¹ Of anyone running, Kennedy at least says that's what he wants to do.
