Hey Tony, I took a look at the Bitcoin calendar, it's an admirable goal to record Bitcoin's history.
My first impression: the events are listed per day no matter the year it took place so it was a bit confusing to see the calendar year like "september 2025".
Unless the project is meant as an archive where users use it as a search engine, i would try to focus it more on visually discovering events instead of clicking around and accidentally stumble upon interesting facts.
I would remove the grey filled days because they are lighter and demand more attention than the regular ones.
Thanks for your feedback. Definitely something to consider. Grey filling is for dates for previous/next month. I guess I should make the color less “screaming”. I will also give a thought to hiding the year. It is indeed irrelevant as all events show up in the calendar view regardless of the year.
There are also search and filter options in the header. Definitely got lots to do in regards to UX and UI. Design is the next field for me to master. Exciting stuff!
If you decide to use the calendar, make sure to save it to Home Screen — it feels much better when installed as a Progressive Web App.
