Asked you awesome Stackers for ideas to raise BTC-proud children. (#273439). You guys gave me much to chew on. I compiled your suggestions and added some of my own inspirations derived from them so that I can derive a clear course of action for my kids. Thanks for the boost of energy.
  1. Be a person with integrity. Your words must match your actions because your children are watching. Habits are best absorbed than taught.
  2. Watch pop culture videos where the characters discuss the use of Bitcoin. For instance, Season 2 Episode 3 (Bitcoin and the Beast) of “Tuttle Twins” features Bitcoin? The twins need to decide which is better when selling their dad’s old video game - Bitcoin or fiat. Also, Episode 3 of the new Futurama season features Bitcoin mining? In the episode "How the West Was 1010001," the main characters owed a debt to the robot mafia and were hence forced to travel West to "Crypto Country”.
  3. The use of visuals helps since it concretises the abstract for them. Paste Bitcoin stickers all over the place so that children become familiar with it.
  4. There is a dilemma in which whether parents should use games from THUDR or Zebedee. On the one hand, children get sats easily and in a fun way. On the other hand, they will come to associate gamification with Bitcoin and establish a neural pathway that Bitcoin obtained through gaming is gambling.
  5. Letting your kids use a Bitcoin testnet wallet could scaffold them in picking up the ropes of Bitcoin more conveniently. There’s a Bitcoin Wallet [Testnet] app that you can download for your kids from Fdroid.
  1. Don't confuse kids with testnet. Testnet is for pussies or only for devs. Teach them to be strong and reckless bitcoiners.

I don't know anything about whatever testnet wallet may be in F-droid, but I do know Padawan wallet: https://github.com/thunderbiscuit/padawan-wallet
However, while I do like a testnet wallet for learning and becoming familiar with everything, once your kid understands what's going on, just give them real Bitcoin. If they lose it, the pain of losing it will teach them the same life lessons that the pain of a kid losing their money they earned always does.
