There's a market. It just needs to be built the right way. The discussion on the launch post might inform what they were doing wrong, eg paywalling answers. They just eliminated some dead ends for whoever takes it up next.

Will look into it, but from what I have seen I am not a huge fan of the concept they rolled out (needing to buy answers without having any indication if the answer is any good).
it would just be nice to earn some sats by utilizing the skillset one has acquired. E.g. complete these two tickets / GitHub issues and earn xxx sats. Document this module for us and earn xx sats. E.g. because my current job just isn't allowing me to stack enough

Just saw that you pay in sats for PR. However this is react / JS project, right? There is no Python / R / machine Learning involved right?
