My crazy uncle used to hire undocumented immigrants while complaining that illegal aliens were stealing people's jobs. He liked to hire them because they worked hard and were cheap.

How’s your ‘bot spidey sense’?

Urgh it got me...
In fairness it's still an interesting question.

It really is… and that what annoys the hell out of me!

I hate bots impersonating real people. Verify or get out.

I grew and sold magic mushrooms as a hobby (didn't make even $1000 total) in university. Due to marketplace error (the fool guy didn't encrypt his data) I was caught. In Sweden, the policy on narcotics is "punish as hard as possible to scare them into stopping" (literally, you can look it up). So cops raided my house, stole everything of value (electronics). In the end, because I used bitcoin and didn't speak to police, I thankfully could only be charged with money laundering (didn't pay tax on that $1000..).
Investigation took years, every day I worried another raid would happen. I kept using drugs (weed) obviously. Addicts gonna addict.
In Sweden, the drug overdose death rate is more than 3 times that of the Netherlands (where drugs are decriminalized). Our system does not work, if the aim is to help addicts recover.
So my stupidest double standard is this: I believe our system is not only good, it is ethical.
Took me 20 years to come to terms with that cognitive dissonance. I'd be happy to talk about it if anyone is interested. The TL;DR is: In sparta, lying is fine if you get away with it. But get caught, and you will suffer.

I have no words...those people, the Lagarde, Sherman or Nancy Pelosi are making history, all these fine lines will be taught in history books as the 2020s dark ages of clownish leadership
