As a studied economist I realized that I had no clue. The btc community forced me to get rid of any arrogance, study the austrians from the roots again and lower my time preference in every day life even more. The impact is visible as I am trying to deduct these principles of individual sovereignty into a philosophical set of rules for my life and my family that also redefines responsibility.

I saw a tweet once that said even if Bitcoin went away tomorrow it would still have had a net positive impact on my life. I find that true.
Bitcoin sparked my curiosity in many different subjects I previously was ignorant on. Economics, energy, monetary history, political science and different forms of governance, libertarianism, central banking, privacy, human rights, etc. Most of all I think it has inspired me to believe I have an impact on the future, and while normies around me are absorbed by politics and nihilism, I'm optimistic for the future.

Lowered my time preference. It has also changed the lens through which I filter the world. All the downstream corruption and flaws of society that start from fiat become so obvious.
