I think the 100k should be increased or shut down. Some of us are mixing into cold storage that won't be touched for many years. Fees will eat a large chunk of a 100k UTXO in a decade or so.
I also think they should use join market with the "toxic change". But I hear they are doing something about that. Should be out by the end of the year.
Yeah in the bull scenario the 100k pool will be shut down. It has its uses for now though.
Min cold storage UTXO size of 1M sats is a pretty robust heuristic I think

Sometimes the 1M feels a bit small while the 5 M is kind of big so yeah the sweet spot in that 1-3 M range
