After the comments under my last few posts, it got me thinking about looking into this issue. I know people have an interest, but there is no one running any interesting events on the topic of bitcoin.
So a question for you SN users. Maybe someone already has experience in creating and running communities to help people learn about bitcoin.
What tips would you give, where is the best place to start?
Thanks.

And ofcourse, you can contact admins and create your own signal group in your city and start building community.

Find one fellow bitcoiner to sit down with for a beer. Post around about your meetup place and time. At some point, a third member will jump onboard.
And from there, you grow.

Are there any bitcoiners who don't drink alcohol?))

Here is a guide with more info and links https://darthcoin.substack.com/p/5-stages-became-bitcoiner
TLDR: you need to pass the 5 stages YOURSELF before building those communities.

Is not an easy task...but it can be done.
IMO the easiest way is to create an evento on Meetup and do a Bitcoin presentation for beginners in your city. If you don't want to pay the Meetup subscription it will be hard to find new people...If you go to Telegram groups you could find some local bitcoiners.
https://2140meetups.com/ is a very good tool to post your events / Community and in https://btcmap.org/ you can post your Community.

Thank you, I'll look into it

Like what @DarthCoin says, you need PATIENCE.
After being active in a Dutch community for almost 3 years (which is short!), I have met two people in person which actually live nearby with the same Bitcoin interest. That's what I call local: people living / working near you.
I'm not pushing it: the need to meet other like-minded people. I like the way of 'serendipity'.

Yes, I realize that, thank you)
