Just a comment on service fees. I bought tickets recently. Ticketmaster calls it "all in pricing." Now they give you one number that is jacked up to include the old service fees. Another Biden success story.

I would say this is indeed better than if you already invested some time into booking something and only at the end you discover that it actually costs more.
These are dark patterns: They know very well that you are more willing to pay the extra money after you invested some time than if they displayed it at the beginning.

Good point. I go to a lot of concerts with friends. I subconsciously have been adding in 25 to 35% to the total for years. It must really be a shock for the occasional buyer.
