I do make it 7. Actually used a checker and everything!
I think strict adherence limits creativity and is so stupid anyway. I never saw myself in the role of haiku police! I can't help it. I'm in the habit of counting syllables every time I see your daily haiku. Maybe I'm just preparing you for the day when your editors hound you before publication of "The Collected Poems Of Carlos Fandango" thirty years from now.

I really appreciate you taking the time - thank you - I do check these things as the adherence to the rule actually helps me write. If there were to be haiku police you should definitely be the Commissioner as I consider you knowledgable and encouraging yet firm.
I have a longer piece called I am currently writing but that may take 30 years!

Nearly gave the game away… but it’s working title is ‘Growl’

I hope you're serious. That's great! I re read it last night because I brought it up. I can't say I was a huge fan, but he nailed it.

And more importantly - how was the deli? Did you do an update?
reply
It was kind of nutty. I haven't done an update yet because I am trying to contact the owner. I haven't given up on @nemo 's suggestion to incorporate a @DarthCoin orange pilling session just yet, but I dont think I could pull off any bitcoin orange pilling without help from ownership. I finally got his email address. My experience was kind of funny. I'll jot down the details when I get some down time.

Ooo. So there IS a story!

I was thinking of doing another orange pill diaries attempt at humor, but I'm going to keep this post serious, I think. I don't want to make jokes at the expense of the only business I know of on Long Island that accepts bitcoin. Instead I will try to get them some exposure and maybe encourage other local businesses.
You were right. It's been a long time since I experienced New Yorkers in the midst of a stressful rush hour breakfast setting.
I am serious. Planned into 3 parts. Not sure how long it will run though.
I’m not a huge fan but it’s an interesting style of writing. More a Kerouac person myself
reply
Same here. Kerouac was it for me, and a little bit of Naked Lunch. Can't wait to see what you're up to.
