Goal is to get back into Linux.
I have used Ubuntu before (long time ago), so my original thought was to get back to that, but there are a lot of Linux distributors, most I haven't heard of. Any recommendations as to which one to choose?
Your feedback is always appreciated
You will get a million opinions on here from people who know much more than me. If I were you, though, I would start with Ubuntu. When I first tried it about 10 years ago everything was a pain in the ass-wifi, printers, etc. It is easier than Windows now, if you ask me. Very convenient. Then, you can hunt around for distros to try. I think Darth recommends straight Debian.

I would recommend Linux Mint, which is Ubuntu under the hood but with a much better interface and better package manager defaults.
It doesn't matter too significantly where you start though. Just get back into it and if you switch later then you switch ;)
