Usually I pay for my Dunkin Donuts egg sandwich with a gift card from The Bitcoin Company. Today I got a better, but more expensive egg sandwich paying directly with bitcoin. Unfortunately on-chain.

Boom none the less!

Let's go!

Also, on-chain ain't that bad. We've got to get merchants started somewhere ;)

I went this morning. I'm trying to figure out a way to contact the owner. His workers weren't giving up his privacy and the web site has no email address, just the business phone number.

I know, but the inefficiency really gets to me. I was happy to be able to pay in bitcoin, but the whole experience was nutty and a little disappointing. Once again, kind of funny, though, so I might turn it into a short post.

You are a true warrior!
We will zap you to recover the onchain fees

reply

Please don't! I feel like I didn't earn them like you feel. Give it to Anita

reply

I wonder if @anita is mining Bitcoin... 😂😂😂
I would feel much better paying onchain fees.

reply

Me too

reply

Let's get another crowdfunding round on SN and buy a bitcoin miner for @anita !

reply

That's a good idea. If drug dealers can mine, charitable organizations should too.

I guess it's a good indication of how far we've come in such a short time that on-chain for a relatively small purchase pisses me off.
