Yes I remember that discussion. I was really trying to keep calm with that so called bitcoiner. I still think was just a gov sus, infiltrated in the group (there are many, even here on SN). My bulshitometeer is detecting them very easily.

Is really hard to show the right path to these kind of people. Even if is not a gov sus, his brains are fried from intense fiat propaganda.

As I said many times, Bitcoin is not for everybody. Bitcoin is a natural selection. Not for the weak, only the brave.

That guy and others like him (are still many) that ignore LN and says that is not useful, are just idiots that cannot see their future more than 1 day forward.

As I explained him: Bitcoin without LN is NOTHING. LN without BTC is NOTHING. Only together can go forward.
