I have friends who once were victims of pyramid scheme scams. I Orange pill them, hoping that they will realize and utilize the opportunity Bitcoin has to offer.
I'm trying to help them understand Stacker News, as the reliable source of Bitcoin news, my previous post was about the same "reliable source of Bitcoin news". But they're just as non tech as I am. Please, your assistance will save a brother, a sister in Africa.
If they are familiar with Reddit(Hackernews is closer but I doubt they use that) its like Reddit but with real money incentives and a community that values thoughtful discussion over thoughtless scrolling and liking.
If they are completely non-technical, don't use the Internet much then its a group of people that ask questions, share news, and debate topics in a forum with monetary incentives.
The best way to see how it works is to use it though.

People vote on the quality and usefulness of the news here with real money, not worthless likes. High quality content gets rewarded with money directly to the author, incentivizing high quality content on the platform.

"Satoshiization of Hacker News."
"I don't know what either of those are bro."
"It's a front page of bitcoin where price exposure and novitate is less the thing, and tech, entrepreneurship, and philosophy are. You're incentivized to engage socially because each profile comes loaded with a free interoperable Lightning wallet, which uses micro-transactions to upvote or reward hi-rez posts and replies. These micro-transaction tips are called Zaps. They provide dopamine with instant gratification for both the giver and the receiver. It's a new platform that's existed only in a bear market, and is likely to gain significant influence within the space going into and beyond the next horn gore (bullish) keyframe. Join us."

Dear SN family
Thank you for all your wonderful support on this. It was really helpful to have your input. I highly appreciate every SN member, including those whose ideas might have been already mentioned by others.
With the information provided, I'll have fellow bitcoiners.
I'm already seeing a vast improvement in my ability to help others understand Stacker News. Hopefully, this has been and will be helpful to other SN members also.
