Details of user generated subs are very fluid right now so this is helpful. I've only considered very high-level stuff like:
- how trust works in a sub
- how many sats does it cost to start and maintain a sub
- variations on how the sub creator earns sats from it
Something interesting meetup does is the ability for a dormant group to be taken over or acquired, usually after nonactivity and lack of general updates. This approach favors the group as a whole.
I imagine SN having some sort of plan for abandoned subs. Most Bitcoiners take on more than they can handle.
A system similar to meetup could potentially keep these subs alive.
