Lol prices always revert to their effective value over a long enough time period, I'm surprised that it got as big as it did, but I guess paying a few celebs to shill your product to the masses can drive quite a frenzy, especially when you couple it with the chance to get rich. 

I remember seeing all these stories of rando artists and even kids making millions on NFTs all staged PR pieces to get people to buy into this crap, sadly most people are probably sitting with a meta mask filled with hashed recipets they can only look at and remind themselves of how they were duped
