I would suggest buying a blockstream Jade wallet. It is affordable and easy to use. You probably don't want to spend 200 on a hardware wallet if you are only holding 1k worth of bitcoin so get something more affordable. Stack sats daily or weekly. Move sats off exchange weekly.

Take the time to learn from your mistake and learn about what you own. Ignore all the shitcoin promoters that will come out of the woodwork during the next bull market.
