Why wouldnt it? It fits into the current world order better than any other crypto, it also has friends in high places. Note that paypal has launched their stablecoin as an ERC20. Also Ethereum is only 6 years old. So you can go back and look where Bitcoin was when it was 6 years old.
tl;dr the next 6 years are going to be extremely bullish for Ethereum and now is probably the best time to position urself in it.
Not a good idea to position in that. It will unravel. Many loose threads are waiting to get pulled there.
