Apparently this oil is made from fermenting sugar cane and boasts a high burn temp and has more monounsaturated fat than olive oil. Even the Whole 30 paleo crowd approves.

I hadn't heard of it and they don't exactly explain how their fermentation process yields oil, ie no description of the organism(s) or conditions of fermentation.

They've either discovered an underutilized organism or engineered one. Kind of a neat sneak peak into a bio engineered future (hopefully not a dystopic one).
