The US dollar was never meant to go anywhere.
As it would appear, global standards aren't replaceable. Just like standards with everything else, many attempts have been made, so now we are stuck with this slush of primarily dollars mixed with different flavors of the same shit from all around the world.
Some coordinated efforts deserve recognition, but even the heaviest contenders fall short by a lot.
BRICS is one example. A handful of nations has demonstrated a very clear and public motivation to replace the dollar with sanctions, mandates, et cetera. Despite everything, the dollar is still gradually losing value at the same agonizingly slow pace.
Just slow enough that the dying man's life savings is the new generation's year of work.
I'm not a expert, nor do I have any experience in any industry that would have a say-so or sway in the matter, but I do use dollars. I absolutely love Bitcoin with my whole heart! I love everything about it. And I hate dollars! Just as much -or more- as everyone else that uses it, but we have to use it. It is the lifeblood of the global economy, even as poisoned as it is.
This became clear to me as I watch video footage of illegal immigration at the United States borders on an unbelievable scale. Seeing that migrants from all over the world are treated better than disaster victims that are born citizens. It is clear to me now exactly why this is happening. BRICS may have put a hole in this beast big enough to eventually bleed it out, if not for the rampant illegal immigration. Huge incentives to come here and work for tax-free dollars to send home to family around the world. Boom problem solved. Nice try, BRICS.
Now it totally makes sense why Biden looks so stupid. Because he is stupid. Stupid like a fox. The dollar is here to stay. Bitcoin forever the best alternative.
The balance and harmony of nature is always melancholy, ironic; grief is the sustenance of hope and vis versa. System driven by and dependant upon systems. If you want to add to it, or subtract from it, you can expect turbulence and chaos as it finds equilibrium.
