In July, Germany saw a significant drop in building permits for apartments, with a 31.5% decrease from the previous year. A total of 21,000 apartments were approved. From January to July, there was a 27.8% decline in permits year-on-year, totaling 156,200 apartments. Rising construction costs and worsening financing conditions are believed to be primary reasons for this decline.
