but then I have learned that communism and democracy are pretty much the same, madness.! the real freedom is being self-responsible and do not expecting anything form others, and def not believing some empty talks from politicians.

This is one of the meta I learned and adopted in communism era.
Suited very well for my entire life.

My own grandfather once told me: a day that if you do not smile or laugh one day is a lost day in your life.
Maybe that's why I will live 120 years... (my grandfather lived 110 yrs)
